Papilloma - treatment with folk remedies

papillomas on the body in what way to get rid of

Papillomas are benign tumors formed from connective tissue and epithelium.

Today, this neoplasm occurs in a large number of people and is considered the most common skin tumor. There are blood vessels inside the papilloma, which is why bleeding occurs during the injury.

Usually, after their appearance, the tumor is not susceptible to significant changes in size. Papillomas may disappear and reappear spontaneously.

If several papillomas are found on the body, in this case, the patient is diagnosed with papillomotosis.

Causes of papillomas

The reason for the development of this neoplasm is the papillomavirus, which can be passed from parent to child or acquired during life. The virus enters the basal cells of the epithelial tissue and begins to multiply actively. In cases when the infected person begins to lose immunity, papillomas grow.

Types of papillomas

All papillomas are divided into several types:

  • pointed;
  • flat;
  • threadlike;
  • simple;
  • plantar.

For women, a certain danger is posed by genital neoplasms, which can provoke the development of cervical cancer.

Main site of tumor growth

Papillomas occur mainly on the skin and mucous membranes. The main locations of neoplasms are:

  • armpit;
  • eyelid;
  • neck;
  • the area under the breast (in women);
  • oral cavity;
  • nasal cavity;
  • bladder;
  • intestines;
  • vocal cords;
  • mucous membranes of the female genital organs.

Despite the fact that only papillomas located on the mucous membranes of the genital organs (in women) are considered dangerous, capable of being reborn into malignant neoplasms, all neoplasms should be discarded, wherever they arise.

Papilloma symptoms to distinguish it from other neoplasms of the skin

Skin neoplasms are not only papillomas, but also warts and moles. To distinguish one tumor from another, one must know the symptoms. The main signs of papillomas are:

  • mushroom shaped;
  • sizes from two millimeters to one centimeter;
  • painless to the touch;
  • fine-grained or coarse-grained surface;
  • the growth of the neoplasm is asymptomatic;
  • the color of the flesh becomes dark red;
  • very slow increase in size.

Usually, with an uninfected and scanty tumor, doctors do not prescribe its removal. However, you can easily get rid of papillomas with folk remedies, which are completely safe and very effective.

Papilloma complications

All complications of papilloma usually occur due to trauma to the neoplasm. The main ones are:

  • bleeding (may be severe if blood vessels are damaged);
  • infection of the resulting wound;
  • purulent inflammation.

In the presence of papillomas on the mucous membrane, as a complication, their degeneration into malignant formations and polyps can occur. If there is a suspicion of a tendency for the neoplasm to degenerate, the papilloma is removed and further investigated.

Drug treatment for papillomas

Treatment of the disease is reduced to improving the functioning of the immune system and eliminating the neoplasm itself. To remove the tumor, apply:

  • cryodestruction - moxibustion with liquid nitrogen;
  • radio knife - papillomas are removed once and for all;
  • laser surgery - the procedure is painless and bloodless;
  • electrocoagulation - removal occurs under the influence of high-frequency currents;
  • removal with a scalpel - today, almost completely abandon this method of treatment.
